Westlifekonsert/ Westlifeconcert

Jag och barnen kom till O2 Arena klockan fem på eftermiddagen. Vi skulle vara där senast halv sju. Showen skulle börja halv åtta. För att fördriva tiden så satte vi oss på ett cafè. Vi diskuterade bland annat om förband till Westlife. Vi trodde inte att det skulle vara något förband, men det var det. Först ut att uppträda var artisten Glenn Cal, sedan två killar som spelade gitarr och sist ut var tjejgruppen Vanquish. De var bra alla tre. Glenn Cal påminde lite om REM röstmässigt tycker jag. Killarna som spelade gitarr hade lite humoristiska inslag i sin spelning. Klockan 21.00 ca kom Westlife ut på scenen. Kian Egan inledde showen med att prata lite om deras avskedskonsert och det buades i publiken. Kian sa "när vi spelar brukar aldrig någon bua", men han hade förståelse varför och sade sedan att vi måste förstå att de har spelat i fjorton år och att det är dags att lägga av. När resterande medlemmar kom in och de började sjunga första låten "What about now" så föll tårarna. Jag var inte beredd på detta. Jag grät nog under hela konsertens gång. Musiken gick in rakt in i mitt hjärta och jag var så lycklig över att vara på plats. Konserten pågick under två timmar. Innan konserten avslutades höll de avskedstal där de tackade sin manager, fru och fans för det stöd som de har fått genom åren. De hade svårt att tala och man såg på tv-skärmen, att de hade tårar i ögonen. De spelade sedan en sista sång. Publiken ville naturligtvis höra mera och det blev två låtar till. Vid sista låten föll det glitter över dem, det var så vackert men samtidigt sorgligt. De bugade de och tackade för sig, vände ryggen emot publiken och gick sidled uppför trapporna och försvann. Under spelningens gång kunde publiken titta på tv-skärmarna (vid kortare pauser) där varje medlem i Westlife höll ett kortare tal, om anledningen till att de lägger av. De pratade mycket om de fjorton åren som de har varit igång och att de nu börjar bli äldre. De menade också på, att fjorton år av ens liv är många år. When remaining members came in and they begun to sing the first tune “What about now” sow fell the tears. I were not ready on this. I cried enough during the entire concert's time. Before the concert was completed held they farewell number there they thanked itself urging gives, wife and fan's for the aid that they has may through the years. They had difficultly to speak and man saw on the TV display, that they had tears in the eyes. The played since a last song. The audience wanted to of course to consult more and it became two tunes to. The wide last tune fell that glitter over them, it there so beautiful but at the same time sad.
